Sunday Funday

The first card was started Friday, all the rest were made today...so definitely was fun relaxing day for me.  I did manage to sneak in a little housework at the same time.

Card one was made for the current challenge at The Male Room: Shades of Blue.  A perfect challenge for my Stampabilities Lighthouse stamp paired with a Paper Smooches diecut.  Papers are by Little Yellow Bicycle.  Sentiment is a mystery.
This card was made using my new Mama Elephant stamp set and was made following the new OWH Sketch #247.  I totally missed the horizontal element at the bottom so I am chalking it up to creative license.  Paper is by Little Yellow Bicycle.
This card uses the same stamps and sketch as the second card but was made for the current challenge Cards in Envy: Going Gray.  I did much better at following the sketch.  The set has "rain drops" and then used Glossy Accents to accent them.  Clouds were made using Paper Smooches diecuts.  Papers are by Little Yellow Bicycle.
This card was made for the current challenge at ATCAS: World.  Sentiment is by Jillibean; image by Fiskars.  Paper is DCWV.

OWH MMT: Thank You

The first card was one that I had started sometime last year and is based upon an OWH sketch.  I had the yellow dp attached to the blue base and sentiment stamped.  I was lucky enough to find this image at The Graphic Fairy.  I flipped the image and added more stamping.  It just doesn't feel right to have the image "looking" away from the sentiment which is why this card base had been pushed to the side.  Happy to have this card finished.

My second card was made earlier this month and it uses paper that was in my secret santa gift pack.  It isn't anything I would normally buy so I challenged myself to make a few cards with it.   My banner mojo was still strong from making a card for the current challenge at Cards in Envy.

Deedee's Digis

My two blog friends Carol and Donna are designers for Deedee's Digis.  I decided to join the monthly challenge in even though OWH is done with winter themed cards for right now.  I added a little torn paper to the bottom of the digi to give it some texture and colored the sky yellow.  Papers were in my stash.

OWH Sketch #246

Great sketch as always for this week's OWH challenge.  I took my inspiration for my card from the Michael's image I stamped and enhanced with Copics.  Leaf paper is Bo Bunny.  Mini brads were substituted for the two embellishments.  I talked myself out of a punny sentiment and went for one more basic.

2 Cute Ink: Going Buggy

Image is an adorable freebie from 2 Cute Ink which I found from following Free Digital Stamps blog.  I created my own backgroud using my inchie paper punch and papers from DCWV yellow and black Insta Photo Fun paper packs and then embossed.  Sentiment is computer generated.

Cards In Envy: Banners

I am so happy that the holidays are over even though they were wonderful this year except for missing my mother.  Having some extra free time meant I was actually able to spend time in my scrap room for most of the day Sunday and was super productive.  Banners are always hard for me, they seem wonky, except when I make something like today's card which is a CASE of a card I made last year.

I do like to save scrap strips just in case I need a little piece of something and they came in handy for this card.  The flower paper is from MME (I think) and sentiment by Hero Arts.

OWH 3 Million Card Celebration

Yet another card and post for today...wowzers, I am on a roll and now all caught up on the OWH challenges!  And I got a little craftroom cleanin done. (insert happy face)  I am using Linda Anderson's fabby sketch and my new pad of Teresa Collins paper.  Sentiment is Hero Arts.

OWH Sketch #244 & MMT

In order to play catch up on some OWH challenges, I doubled up by making this card.  The card uses a Doodle Pantry image, sentiment and some scraps.

OWH ODBD: January

I was determined to make my ODBD card early this month, so I paired up that challenge with this month's HashTag challenge at W2SB.  Sentiment is computer generated; papers are by K&Co.  Image is an old one I found at a thrift store.  This one will be going in my next OWH box.

OWH Sketch #245

When I saw Linda's card, I was so inspired that I CASE'd it for my personal Christmas cards this year.  Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of one so I could share with you, oops!  It was time to try the sketch out on a masculine version.  The Hero Arts fundraiser stamp set provided the perfect image for my card.

I heat embossed the image in copper to match the copper foil in the dp.  Thanks for looking!
