I had made a different card for this month's ODBD challenge, but never got it posted. I decided that I wanted to share this card that I made for my MIL 80th birthday. There was a little surprise shingdig on Sunday to celebrate. The papers were all scraps and the Birthday is part of a sentiment designed by Handmade By Paula that was also laying around waiting to be used.

Hey Donna...Thanks for the inspiration this week! This card was made early this morning using Donna's card as the template. The brads in the strip on her card was the detail that really caught my eye so that is where I started. Papers are by The Paper Studio; sentiment is Hero Arts. Since I stamped the sentiment a couple of times I decided to pop the center out to add a little interest.

Let me start off by saying that I was thinking of skipping this challenge due to life. However, cookies of bunny bottoms showed up on my Facebook feed and I was hooked. I love using my punches so I decided to give it a whirl for a card. I haven't decided who to send this to yet. The floral paper and ribbon is Fancy Pants; the sentiment is computer generated.

Thanks Penny for making us stretch our mojo muscles! If I hadn't loaned out my fave paper cutter I would have had a much easier time putting this card together. Picking the papers was super easy as I had The Paper Studio pad sitting on top of my "work" area. Sentiment is Paper Smooches. Thanks for stopping by!

I decided to take the theme of diamonds at Words 2 Scrap By to create a card that can be used for Father's Day. The OWH deadline for those cards is April 30th and I have just started making some. The argyle paper and car stamp were made by CTMH; sentiment was computer generated.
Thank you Katherine for a great sketch/sample and Doodle Pantry for all the additional inspiration! I made it throught the whole month of March making cards from the scrap pile. So I rewarded myself with The Paper Studio Cape Cod mini paper pad. Perfect for "guy" cards. Sentiment is computer gernerated.
