I used Close To My Heart paper and inks for this challenge. Was going for more of a masculine theme. Been organizing my scrap (crap) supplies/space and feeling a little/lot overwhelmed from that, so making a few cards was a welcomed break.

Frame Redo
My sister wanted me to decorate a frame for her with a cat theme to go into her living room. I bought this frame at my local Super $ Store which sells a lot of closeout items. My only rule for myself was to not purchase anything new. Her cat's name is Pumpkin (nickname Punk) and she was found abandoned in a neighbor's yard. She wormed her way into my sis's heart. Isn't she cute?!She was so happy with the result that she now wants to redo frames as Christmas presents for her friends this year.

I made two cards for this challenge. One took way less time than the other. I am sure you can figure out which. I grew up on a farm and had chores to do every day, so of course I really like this challenge! I still have to pick which one to link to...
After uploading the pics I realized that the pig in the first one should be facing the other way to direct the eye inward. I did not realized that I had pigs facing both ways on the paper so I could have made it right in the first place. Oh well, a lesson well-learned and it makes my choice much easier. Papers by jillibean SOUP and Bella BLVD, as well as a little "scrap".

50th Anniversay Card
My mother needed a 50th Wedding Anniversary Card so I made her one. Unfortunately, I could not get my rub-on on well probably due to age and could not find any stamps that said "year of" so I wrote over the rub-ons. The card is much prettier than the picture shows. The gold ribbon is my fave part. Used paper from the I Do Wedding collection. All the supplies were purchased from a fab dollar store. Hope My mom likes it!
