I had to cut up a bunch of pad sheets for a paper swap and ended up with a pile a scraps. I cannot bear to throw them away and putting them in the scrap box is the kiss of death. I worked on making card mats out of them. This is one I was able to finish and it works for the Mother's Day Challenge! I think a key element is the matting of the scraps. What do you think?

A Scrap Success

I used my computer to create the sentiment for this challenge. I thought it looked to plain so I stamped the pink image on and added the liquid pearls. I do love this sketch! Enjoy the rest of the day!

OWH MWT Mother's Day
A quick card that I made earlier in the week using a computer generated sentiment. I am still working on a envelope of Mother's Day cards for the challenge. Between work and caregiving I have been barely keeping up on the card making challenges and have not had much time to provide support to other OWH card makers. I know that I appreciate your comments on my blog so I have always felt strongly that I need to visit all posting and leave some love. I may be absent for awhile but hopefully my time will free up in the next month...keep your fingers crossed for me.

I took some creative license with this sketch because I wanted to use this teapot sticker. I always try to use the image to direct your eye to the sentiment rather than off the card. I have been working on a few Mother's Day cards, so I decided to go that route. You gotta work with your mojo!

Card #11 Rainforest Color Challenge using OWH Sketch #31. Card #12 Boats & Ships using OWH #21 mistakenly reported to have been used on the Jungle Animal card (that was #25...oops!). Card #13...no sketch used.
