OWH Sketch #170 & MWT: Time

Another great sketch...Thanks Cindy E!  I started this card with the intention of using some of my stickers but my mojo took me another direction.  Gotta work with your mojo.  I made a couple of minor adjustments to the sketch as sometimes I get so into the process that I miss some of the details.  Sentiment by Rebecca B, who has a blog that has all sorts of smash book free printables...super fun.  I wasn't sure of the CTMH paper with the letters would be too distracting for the sentiment, but I think the ribbon and matting really make it work.

This is my card for the MWT: Time.  I used the clock and the rectangle from the same piece of 12X12.  Not sure who made it as it is super old.  Sentiment is computer generated.

SSC: Buttons, Bows & Polka Dots

It has been awhile since I was able to join Sweet Stampin' Challenge just because of life.  However I managed to find some time this week...yea!  Image is by Sherri Bauldy; sentiment by me.  Papers are Bella Cart and K&Co.  I just had to use the blue background as it reminded me of trendy bathroom wallpaper or tile.  I did use some Glossy Accents on the bubbles.

ATCAS #11: Flower

As soon as I read the theme for the new Addicted to CAS challenge, I knew I wanted to use one of my fave CTMH sets "Treasures".  After stamping on kraft, I added clear embossing powder to the images and sentiment.  A little inking on the edges to add some softness.  Images stamped with CTMH Cocoa...another favorite.

OWH Sketch Challenge 169

I have a humongous cold...the first one of the winter season so I had to take a little nap before I started on my card for this week's sketch.  The nap really helped!  This week's challenging sketch is courtesy of Doodle Pantry...a big thanks to them!

The inspiration for this card came from the little world stamp. Papers by K&Co, Basic Grey, and Colorbok. The Dad (Studio G) is fussy cut after being stamped on cream.  Not sure about the world as the set (travel) is not marked. The other sentiment is computer generated.  A little twine,  three brads and some piercing are the finishing touches.  I think this will be my last "Father's Day" card this year as they are due next week and I want to get my package mailed this week.

OWH MWT: A Bug's Life

Bugs...the theme of this week's OWH Midweek Challenge.  Lucky me to have this super fun image to color from Dustin Pike; sentiment was added by me on the sign.  I actually did not realize that I had printed the image so big so I went super simple on the rest of the card.

Birdie Brown April Freebie Challenge

Cameras are really trendy and this month Birdie Brown free image and sentiment is super fun!  Coloring it was very easy and to add a little extra touch of whimsy I colored in the letters.  Isn't the sentiment just wonderful.  The dp is by MME and border is K&Co.  The blue flowers are fussy cut out of cardstock.  I think I have finally caught up on my challenge to-do list until Wednesday.  Sweet!!!

ATCAS & OWH

The theme for the Addicted to CAS #10 is "Friend".  I have a little addiction to hexagons so I used my punch to create a "mat" for my butterfly and sentiment.  I am not sure who made the butterfly but the sentiment was computer generated by me.  Base/sentiment papers are by MME.  I am also going to link this card up to the OWH ODBD: Things that fly.  In addition, because there are 7 hexis this card will also be linked up to the OWH Bootcamp: "Now that is odd" lesson.
