OWH Sketch #218

Way to go Pam on creating a stunning card and wonderful sketch.  I am in need of a thank you card to send to someone who helped us get our mother back home until the time she is no longer with us.  As I write this, I am still trying to come to terms with where things are headed.  My card making and your support have been a big help in the past and will be in the future.

I did move the elements on my card around mostly because I substituted some pretty floral for the large image.  The sentiment is by Fiskars and papers are from the scrap pile.

OWH Sketch #217

Awesome sketch!  I had some computer/time issues that kept me from loading my card earlier.  I decided to try a different style banner tail and dig out some of my new Paper Smooches goodies for this one.  The papers were dug out of my scrap pile.

OWH MWT: Circles

A quick post to share this card.  I had saved this card to share.  Papers are from the scrap pile.  Diecuts are Basic Grey and sentiment is Hero Arts.  The crazy angle of the papers remind me of the tremors in the movie "Ice Age".

OWH MWT

Two weeks, and two challenges.  The first card uses a digi by Paula S @ Handmade By Paula.  The second card uses a CTMH sentiment; both cards use scraps.  Have a great day!

OWH Sketch #215

Good Morning!  Way to go Kathryn on your inspiring sketch.  I dug around in my scrap pile to pull out the MME bicycle paper that was the start of my card.  Sentiment is a Studio G from Michaels.  Thanks for stopping by!

Cards in Envy: Think Green

Here is my card for the current challenge at Cards in Envy.  I used Paula's digi to create a "Mother's" Day card for OWH.  I love that her digi leaves a little room to add an small element in place of the O.  Papers are from my scrap pile.

OWH ODBD March Challenge: Thanks

Good day!  Here is my card for the ODBD March Challenge.  It was created using a BG journaling card, scrap papers, PS sentiment, a little twine, a brad and a little Copic coloring.  Easy Peasy!

OWH Sketch #214

A quick post to share my card for this week's OWH sketch.  I actually made it during the race, although have not had much time for posting.  I am not a big race fan but my DH is.  I decided to share a picture of a t-shirt quilt I made for him featuring his fave driver.

Card made from scraps and sentiment is computer generated.

Words 2 Scrap By: The Oscars

This month's theme at Words 2 Scrap By is Oscar Movie quotes.  I chose the "Here's looking at you, kid." (Casablanca, 1942) as my inspiration.  My order from Paper Smooches arrived yesterday, lucky me!  I had ordered these dies; great for layering.  Sentiment is part of a Studio G stamp, image is a digi from Starry Nights, and the papers were from my scrap pile.

OWH: Cowboy Up

Howdy...This is my second attempt at a "cowboy" card.  The first attempt turned out as an okay card so I will send it in rather that throwing it away, but this one is waaay better.  I used two different parts of this paper by SandyLion.  The star and circles were inspired by Carol L who often uses to spice up her cards.  Sentiment is computer generated.
