OWH MWT Anything But Glitter

I feel like a broken record...yes I am working on Christmas cards for OWH. Where has the year gone? "Anything But Glitter" is a challenge that is way too simple for me as I never use anything that sparkles for these cards except sometimes a little "bling" more commonly known as rhinestones. Some card makers may have missed that requirement and this is a great way to remind us all!

I had a stack mat that the paper already has adhesive on it and really works well for the sunburst design. Is is one of the first stacks I purchased and am now determined to finish it even though I really like it. It is not Christmas specific but has the required colors of red and green.

OWH MWT Thanksgiving Any Hero Cards

Fall colors are so pretty! I kinda came up with this sketch on my own (or at least that is the way I remember it). I look for inspiration everywhere.

I made the Christmas card first and liked it so much that I wanted to use the sketch again. The dimensions of the blocks are 2.5" by 1.25" and is a great way to use scraps! I love this stamp by Autumn Leaves and it is perfect for an Any Hero card.

OWH MWT Inchies (again)

My second entry for this challenge! I also did made a similar card for the CAS Blog Skip. I rocked out 8 of these this morning after finishing my sketch card, bringing my Christmas card total to 36. I tend to make cards one at a time (each unique) so it takes a little longer.

The deadline for Christmas cards is Halloween, with children now in school it will be here before we know it.

OWH Sketch #83

I look so forward to the sketch challenges! I must be still inspired by the CAS Skip yesterday because this card feels done to me. I popped out the sentiment so I did not want to add any more bulk there.

OWH CAS Blogskip

A CAS card maker I am not, but I am always up for a good challenge! This card is based upon a birthday card by Christina Kowalczyk featured in March 2011 Cards magazine, page 111. I have been wanting to case it for quite some time.

I was tickled pink to realize that my acrylic base is exactly the width of an A2 card so it made lining up the stamp on the card base easy peasy. The hardest part of this card was tying the bows, oops did I just say that "out loud"?

OTWC Challenge #58

I have this coral/gold paper that came as part of a paper pack that I do not really like so I have been challenging myself to utilize it in this challenge. I tend to associate stars with masculine cards, but they are really versatile. This card will go into my OWH box.

OWH MWT Inchies

My best investment ever was my inchie punch. It is my all time fav punch and so versatile. I had made this card earlier this week using some K&Company Americana paper. The rest is from my scrap pile. No, the pile does not appear to be getting any smaller...
