OWH #88, MWT & Train Wreck Averted

Card 1: I treated myself to a Tim Holz stamp set using a coupon over a month ago, but had not broke it out yet. I liked the old cars on it for guy cards. Love Sketch #88.

Card 2: Is made using Stampin' Up. Friday night I went to a stamp sale and bought 3 sets, a little paper, and hexagon punches(I have been wanting these). Score!

Card 3: I call train wreck averted because I pulled out the striped from my scrap pile and built a card from that. At one point I was ready to throw it way, but it came together. The punched corners with the red brads is my favorite part.

  7. It's hard to believe you thought #3 was going to be a train wreck with the final result! I like Tim Holtz stuff too, but then who doesn't? Great group of cards!

  9. Great cards, Linda! I love the harlequin background paper on your sketch card, and the stars accenting the sentiment, very cute. Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!

  10. Linda, these are great. The first one is my favorite because I think it would be great for a teen and they're tough to make cards for! Isn't it just great when you can save a train wreck? The last one looks nothing like a train wreck. It's fabulous!

To answer your question from my blog, my card total is since I started making cards for OWH in December 2010. A couple hundred were made with the help of friends from kits I made, so I'd estimate I've personally made 1,150.
