Challenge #6: Sketch #136 |
http://airbornewifestamping.blogspot.com/. I just had to try the sketch one more time and decided that a sketch flip and a little ribbon would make this work!
#7: I have always wanted to make a snowman card using my punches...Sybrina provided the right push. The sentiments on both these cards is from one of the (new& never used) sets I will be giving away.
#8: Actually football is my favorite sport, but I had these two images I had never used. They were free from http://dudetimedoodles.blogspot.com/2011/07/july-guest-designer-freebie-challenge.html, I am not sure if they are still available. I wanted to "ground" the player image so I freehand colored some grass in as well as the swoosh to link the two images. Sentiment is by me.
#9: Everything about this card is neglected...the stamps, papers, images and even (gasp) my Cricut! My Cricut is my most neglected tool I own just because I have to get it out and set it up. I printed out a bunch of shapes all at one time just to play with it! Thanks for making me do it, Shannon!
#10: I am from Iowa which is usually where the tall corn grows. This wonderful image is from http://freevintagedigistamps.blogspot.com/.
Wowsers! What a weekend! Now I get to go back and check all the great cards others have made!

Great group of cards Linda! This has been such a fun weekend. I am loving the last challenge and seeing how many I can guess right. What a perfect choice for Iowa... I guessed it had to be Iowa or Kansas. Love the retro image!
ReplyDeleteLove how that soccer ball seems to be coming straight at me. The colors are great, too. Thanks for playing along.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection of cards! I'm especially fond of the sketch card with those earthy colors and trendy hexagons! NJ on all!
ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous set of cards: I absolutely adore your sketch card -- it is stunning!
What a great idea to use circle punches to make snowmen! (I'm glad you remembered that because I'm going to CASE this idea!) And, I love your paper and ribbon choices on the big kid card.
Thanks for playing along with the Christmas is for Kids challenge. One hero and one child will be very glad you did!
What a beautiful group of cards! Your weekend has been quite productive. I love the card inspired by Pam, I keep coming back to look at it again. It's very pretty yet masculine too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! I love the sketch card and the Hero card. Great idea to use punches for the snowman! Your soccer ball looks like it is coming right off the paper.
ReplyDeleteGreat group of cards. I especially like the last one, perfect!!
ReplyDeletewhat lovely cards! I went to school in Cedar Rapids and I guessed Iowa right away on your last card, LOL. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, the corn is so great! It's such a well-known symbol of Iowa, but this card isn't corny at all. ;-) Thanks for playing along.
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along with our neglected craft tool challenge! You are welcome! Your cards are all great! Are the stripes on the flags shiny? Are they stickers? They look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWow, you got busy! All of these look great. Love the plaid and masculine colors in that sketch card. Thanks again for hosting a VCMP challenge! It was fun!
