Cards In Envy: Sentiment

Cards in Envy has a new challenge for cards that feature a sentiment.  Sometime ago I created this little sentiment so I could practice Copic coloring on something simple.  I have to admit that the card I ended up with looks nothing like what I planned for when I started.  The star paper is Bo Bunny.  I am also linking this up to this month's Bootcamp topic of Balance in Design.  Most of the cards I create are asymmentrical so it was super fun to create a radial design; I have always wanted to do something like this.  My inspiration was a digi designed by Matt Anderson at Paper Crafts Magazine.

  1. Awesome! Love how you did the stars and the red. They really make the sentiment "Miss You" stand out! Thanks for sharing with us at Cards in Envy!

  2. What a fun card this is Linda! That sentiment, with it's cartoon feel works perfectly with the bold rays. It reminds me of super heroes and comic books and would be perfect for older boys (which is the hardest group for me) but could really go to anyone. The stitching detail is a nice touch too. Thanks for joining in on the October Bootcamp!
