OWH MWT: Teal/Turquoise

Turquoise/teal is one of my fave colors right now as it pairs well with so many other colors.  I decided to pull 2 cards from my OWH box to share.  Both cards use computer generated sentiments and were made in an effort to reduce my scrap pile.

Woohoo!  It is Sunday otherwise known as OWH fun sketch day!  Sketch was created from a card by Deb S...thanks Deb!  I have been working on Mom cards; the deadline will be here before I know it.  Sentiment is computer generated; papers are from my scrap pile.  Have a happy day!

OWH MWT: Let Your Light Shine!

I have to confess that I had a card made that I really liked; however it has some glue seepage that I tried to fix with no success.  I made three additional cards with this card being my last and fave of the bunch.  It uses one of Paula's digis which can be found here.  The image might be Paper Smooches, not sure as it was stamped by a friend.  I have been making cards from my scrap piles.  Yes, I said piles so it is time to reduce them.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge: A Sketch!

My card follows the theme at Sweet Stampin' Challenge which is to use their sketch.  Simply perfect for a Mother's Day card.  Image is part of an old Stampin Up set that my sister picked up for me.  Papers were dug out of my scrap box.  I just may decide to save this one for my mother if I do not make a couple more.  I can definitely see myself using this sketch often.  Thanks for the inspiration!

Cards In Envy: Red, Pink and/or White

A challenging color combo for me for the new Cards in Envy theme.  I decided to take advantage of the color combo to use the fern leaf peony image found at Free Vintage Digital Stamps.  I have a couple of these planted in my yard; they really are beautiful fragile flower.  Sentiment by Fiskars.

Addicted to CAS #32

I do not do well in the morning without a cup of coffee to start my day.  So I was super inspired by the theme for the most recent challenge at Addicted to CAS.  I had purchased the Acrylic paper at Walmart (in the art aisle) for another project and decided to use it for this card.  The base was created with watercolor pencils, ink and spray.  Image is by Stamp With Gail.  Sentiments are by Fiskars.

OWH Sketch #212

It's Sunday and there is another super fun sketch to be inspired by at OWH.  This sketch was created by Lori which when I spied it during Card Bowl I knew immediately that I wanted to CASE it.  The banners were part of a diecut set (forgot the maker, oops) that I saved for the CASE card.  Papers are by Carta Bella and sentiment is computer generated.

OWH MWT: Puny

I am sharing two cards today...wasn't sure if the first is really a pun.  The first card features a diecut by Imaginice and a computer generated sentiment.  The second card features SU and a Basic Grey diecut.  Both were created using papers found on my table.

SSC: Sentiments Only

It has been a long time since I created a card for the Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog.  I have this great Imaginations stamp that is perfect for this theme.  I was going to color, but my Memento is hiding, so I decided to fussy cut everything instead.  This card is made from all scraps that I found on my craft table, except for the Washi Tape.  So happy to see my scrap pile disappearing.

Cards in Envy: Love

I liked a card I made earlier today that I made a second and tweaked it for the latest Cards in Envy challenge.  I used papers from Glimpses by Signify Pink (black & gray).  I cannot decide if I like that big u and is it in the best place.  This one may go to my DH even though we do not celebrate the 14th as it is the death anniversary of his father. OWH MWT: Hexis

Hexis are one of my all time favorite shapes and Pam's card really provided some awesome inspiration.  I started out thinking I was going to totally case her card, but I ended up going a slightly different way.  The black/gray papers are from Glimpses by Signify Pink.  Sentiment by SU. 

ATCAS #31

Wowzers, three posts in one day.  I was kinda at a loss for inspiration for the latest challenge of making a Love card for Addicted to CAS until I ran across the xo scrap paper from MME on my table.  Just perfect for a tag.  Sentiment is by Paper Smooches.  I also told myself that I was not going to use a heart...but it just worked way to well for the sentiment shape that I decided to go for it.

W2SB: Colours of the World

For this challenge I started with the color stamp by Imaginice.  I wanted to do a puny saying, but after choosing this loud background paper I decided to go another way and use a Paper Smooches sentiment.  It really helps to pop the blues.  I could not resist using this paper because it contains all the colors of the Olympic Flag.  If you want to join in please go here.

OWH Card Bowl 2014

Fabulous idea to have a Card Bowl to inspire more masculine cards...  My first card features a HA sentiment, a BG die cut, and some scraps.  The second card is based upon today's Sunday's Sketch which was created thanks to Donna.  Perfect for a masculine theme.  It features CTMH paper, Darice embossed paper and one the the new HA clear stamp sentiments.  Lastly the "Kickoff" card features Denver Bronco colors and a CASE of a card by Alison Spellman.  Papers are BG and WRMK; sentiment is computer generated.
