MWT Challenge--Scallops

The challenge this week is Scallops! The challenge is to make cards for our heroes to send home to their loved ones using scallops, you could use scalloped circle or square punches, Spellbinders dies, scalloped border punches and dies, etc.

Well I started down one path and was searching for a scalloped stamp, which I found but then I realized I had recently purchased some scalloped ribbon from Michaels. I had seen some scalloped ribbon on a retro art project and thought it would be really cool to have. Guess I was right. No stamping on this card. Most of the paper is Amy Butler including the sentiment. The cloud paper is Actopus to Zelephant. I like the touch of whimsy it added to the card. It is going to be hard to give this one away...

  1. I love your take on the scallops, very creative and well done! Thanks for playing in our challenge at Operation Write Home!

  2. Pretty, pretty ribbon! I agree, retro - and I love it!

  3. Very pretty! I like the hearts in the border and your scalloped ribbon is a perfect finishing touch.

  4. THis is such a soft, feminine beautiful card! Love the ribbon!

  5. Well, that is a twist on scallops, but it works SO well! And makie-you givie!
