I am not sure if you are going to recognize the sketch when you look at this card. I started with a printed card base which after I had the card finished and picture taken made me want to flip the sketch. A minor sidestep and wah-lah a card I could live with. I did have to cover up a gold cherub on the diecut (cause I really wasn't feeling any love for it) with a double heart for a little visual depth. The sentiment is my new fav...it is so pretty and I think I only paid a dollar for it! PS-pink is not my favorite color.
This card is just simply beautiful and charming. Someone is going to feel so muchlove when they receive this one. Great job.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!!! I love that beautiful touch of gold throughout your card! It makes it so elegant!
ReplyDeleteI love the pink and gold combo. I have lots of pink paper and need ways to use it.
ReplyDeleteLinda, this reminds me of the fancy Victorian type Valentines my Dad used to give my Mom. Someone will truly feel special to open this.
ReplyDeleteVery elegant! I do see the sketch. :)
ReplyDeleteSweet card! Love how you turned the sketch on it's side, and the gold touches are perfect. Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
ReplyDeleteThat is a really nice sentiment, I like all the gold!
