OWH MWT: Any Hero Card

I had this star digi saved from last year.  I do not know who it is from...if you do, please let me know...I would love to give credit!  It was saved last year, before I figured out that I needed to save all digis with the creator's name for my own sanity.

It was time to use it using paper piecing.  The background was made on my computer as was the little round accent.  I am not convinced that I like the brightness of the yellow, but it does add visual pop.  I have enough to make five more cards.  On the next one I am going to try a circle shape and see if that works better for the yellow.  I tried to balance it out with the embroidery floss.

  1. Linda, Wonderful card for this sketch. I do like your yellow because you've matched it so well with the twine. That round sentiment piece is terrific.

  3. Very different color combination! My combinations are generally traditional. I like the look of the yellow, and you are right about it helping the star to 'pop'!

  4. Great card! The star digi is by Tracey Malnofski of The Stamping Boutique - one of my all-time favorite designers, with her trademark sprinkles. Originally a freebie for OWHers, this digi is now available in her shop - www.thestampingboutique.com
