My inspiration for this week's card was to use the polka dot chipboard frame. It just seemed to scream "Happy Birthday" to me. I usually only make birthday cards for friends and family as OWH usually has enough. I popped up the circle. The outside edge is pierced to add some additional interest. I am kinda on a frame kick as my Secret Santa sent me a package of the little ones that have metal borders and I have been working them into some cards...
Those polka dots really do put one in a birthday mode, and I love that frame too! NJ!
ReplyDeleteI really love the stamp (?) you used in the center circle. It's clean and simple and a great way to add a sentiment without it overpowering the layout. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI like this! Cas but cheery; I always think dots = celebration too! Lol
ReplyDeleteI love your happy birthday card & I really like the polka dots too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing in our OWH MWT challenge this week!
Love your card. It reminds me I have some slide frames in my stash I need to dig out. Super cute!
ReplyDeletePolka dots make any card shine! I like how you coordinated the papers. I would never have thought to use the frame that way.
