Top 13 of 2013

I have to admit it was hard to pick my top 13 cards for the last year but the process really allows for some critical thinking.  So without further ado, here they are in no particular order:

Use of sticker, stamps and computer sentiment to creat a fun vibe.

My fave color combo of the year: turquoise and red.  The placement of fussycut image on black patterned paper created some pop.

Use the the ribbon to underline the sentiment.

Use of a different shape for the sentiment.

Great image to color.

Retro image mixed with Copics.

The paper really set off the retro image.

Lots of fussy cutting great papers.
My fave color combo and great use for the hexi punch.
The mix of Copics and rub-ons for a fun guy card.

Great layers and paper mix.

Great use of a puny sentiment.

Uses multiple punches.

  11. I agree that the process of looking back and choosing cards is hard but also helpful. This is a great group of cards Linda, and I particularly like the Retro 'Mom' design and the way you managed to combine the Birdie Brown Working Guy with a totally different digital image is fabulous. I'm not sure that would have ever occurred to me. Thanks for sharing your 'best of' today. Happy New Year!
