DeeDee's Digis: Blooming Blessings

I was super inspired by a card posted today by Lin at Sending Hugs so I CASE'd it.  I printed the colored image from DeeDee's Digis and used my white pen to create mock white embossing.  What a change the white made to the image.  The jar is a Simple Stories sticker that I drew the stems on with a marker.  Sentiment was made using a Mama Elephant die.

  2. I love it, Linda! I'm glad that my card inspired you to try something different - thanks for the compliment! In answer to your question about the background, I can't point you to a specific video, but it's a technique that Shari Carroll uses quite often, or anyone who used distress inks. I think the trick is to use watercolor paper so that the watered-down ink absorbs into the paper.

  3. This is just FABULOUS! I love what you've done with this digi image, and the addition of white to the flowers looks incredible and really kicked this up a notch or two! Well done!
