Well I thought I read on Facebook that they lots of pinwheel cards so I decided to go for the ruffle technique as I did get the tie card made and linked up before it closed.
I grabbed the first mini pack I found which was the DCWV Green Stack. I also have coordinating chipboard, but they were not purchased at the same time. I think that bird is cute and goofy. The yellows and the green are from my scrap stash. Not sure why I felt the need to flip it on it's side except that it worked better for me visually. I do really like the challenges, even without the candy, because it really seems to get me thinking and creating outside the box.
this card is so very cute. love it
ReplyDeleteNice job! I like the ruffles turned to the side it makes them look totally different. I never got to try these either but now I'm thinking I just might. Great card.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I haven't had time to try the ruffle technique yet and I really want to :) Thanks for playing in our challenge at Operation Write Home!
