OWH Sketch 157

Yes, this is a scrap card, except the black cardstock for matting.  I found another box that had some scraps.  I may have to stretch out my scrap cards to another month, because I have some great stuff to use up.  My mojo has just been flowing as I am working though my piles.

Papers by CTMH and Memory Makers; image by Tim Holtz and sentiment by CTMH.  I always admire a good flip of the sketch so I decided to try it this week.  I miscut the image paper and liked the size so I kept it.

I did finally get  around to making my light box using Paula's instructions.  I had a slight different sized foam board and used some T pins to hold it together rather than glue.  It was uber easy!  Thanks Paula!!!  Now, I just need to learn to use my camera better and I will be set.

  1. Nice combination of masculine elements, Linda. I think the dark matting really makes this card pop!

  3. Fantastic interpretation of the sketch Linda! It looks great in a horizontal format and i like the combo on the map and argyle paper and the way the borders frame all the elements gives it such a nice crisp feel. Glad you decided to experiment with the lightbox too... You're cards deserve to be seen in their best light! :)

  10. Great card! I love that road map paper - it goes with the car perfectly. Remember the days when we actually used road maps? Ahh... such fun memories of Dad having to pull over to look for himself because Mom couldn't read it right, haha. Thanks for memories! TFS!
