Playing Catch Up...

I am a little behind posting my MWT cards; like three weeks worth...ackkk!  The frog card was made for the Miss You challenge.  The card uses paper and felt image from my Secret Santa Ann M and I geared it to the young at heart.                                                                              My second card is for the Spring Flowers challenge where I used diecuts form K&Co(?) and layered everything.  I used adhesive foam to pop out the butterfly wings and keep them from getting squished.  I also used some Liquid Pearls and inked all the edges.                                                   My last card was one I made last week after seeing Jan's fabby idea on Triple Time Matting to use up scrap papers. My prediction is that this will be as big as the pinwheel and sunburst!  Last week after Sandy posted the link on FB, I rocked out 5 cards using scrap papers and hoarded stickers.  I altered the green matting under the deer image as I did not have a big enough piece but enough to make it work.  Another alteration I made to the idea for this card was to use 2 pattern papers as they are both tone on tone and mix very well.  I am super happy to be officially caught up!

  1. All three are nice cards but I think my favorite it the last one. I love the three layers and colors.

  2. The deer card is a wonderful non sentiment card! Limitless potential for a message back home.

  3. Nice to know I am not the only one that falls behind -- oh I am so behind on my posting and card making. All three cards are wonderful -- but I have to agree with Donna -- I really like the last card posted. I really like the triple layers. I am going to have to try that technique.

    Thanks,

    Sharon S.
