I kinda feel like I cheated because I did not stamp anything for this challenge. I was inspired by the scallops from my previous post and make it "manly". I used my 1 inch square punch and cut them on the diagonal. That punch is one of the best investments I ever made! I also turned the sketch on it's side which I almost never do. Most of the paper is from ADORNit and I bought it expecially for OWH cards awhile back, but set it aside and prompty forgot about it.
If you cheated, then cheating works for me! LOL I cheated too on my card and didn't follow the sketch precisely. This is a great card for a guy with the punched elements and great theme! I love the tied fiber! NJ!!
ReplyDeleteWell, cheating clearly works here because your card turned out great! :)
ReplyDeleteFun card!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome card, Linda! I love the "square scallops," that was a really great idea. Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
ReplyDeleteI like the way you turned the card. I think I am going to try that too. I like the "square scallops" too. Very clever.
ReplyDeleteCheating or not.....it came out perfect!!! I think any man would totally love getting this card!!! I love it !!!!
ReplyDeleteHave an inky day!!! ;)
There is no rule that says you *must* stamp to make your cards is there? LOL, If so I could be in trouble too! The triangle scallops are fun, Nice guy card.
ReplyDeleteI think your card is really cute and creative. I like your papers, clever string bow, and pennants! Very cool for a guy!!
