OWH Sketch #162

Cranking out generic Mom cards to help OWH get ready for the Mother's Day rush!  This sketch is courtesy of Cindy...thanks for a fun one!  Paper is MME...image is from Free Vintage Digital Stamps and has been recolored...sentiment by me.  My sewing machine needs a little work but I took a chance and stitched a little.  This card makes lucky #17...

  6. Beautiful job Linda! I think I like it better on its side like this, and the great retro image is perfect with your paper choices and the sewing detail. This is really a great example of how you can use an "uncolored" image too. I know there are times when I just have no interest in 'coloring' and some people who don't like it at all so this is proof that you can make a great card that doesn't need to be colored. With all the zillions of supplies and techniques it's easy to forget just how nice it can be to stick with the basics. :)
