Things have been hectic in my world for the last two weeks, so I am behind on challenges, but no worries I will get caught up. Sketch is courtesy of Tameko...thanks, it was a fun one. I decided to whip up another Dad card so I started with the X and grey borders by K&Co. Sentiments are computer generated by me. Patterned papers are by MME. I have been trying to make "guy" cards out of brighter colors.
I really like that! The minute I saw it I wondered where you got the sentiment (great font!) and it was cool you made a wider boarder on the bottom. The colors are super and I think a lot of guys would really like bright cards. Also love the stitching, and if it's actual sewing, I'm beyond envious.
ReplyDeleteNice job Linda! I think this is a good color combo too. I know what you mean about brighter colors for the guy cards... It's easy to automatically reach for all the dark, somber looking papers and it's unnecessarily limiting.
ReplyDeleteI like your color choices for the man cards, very refreshing!
ReplyDeleteGreat sentiment you made and the stars you added were a super touch. I like the border you went with. Good colors for a guy. Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteLove your card! Those X's are so fun for the border element. And I just love the sentiment. Definitely a perfect masculine card. Great job with this week's sketch!
ReplyDeleteTerrific card! I love the colors and how the yellow and brighter blue still make it masculine. That's a great border element and congrats on the super sentiment. Thanks for playing!
