I have a humongous cold...the first one of the winter season so I had to take a little nap before I started on my card for this week's sketch. The nap really helped! This week's challenging sketch is courtesy of Doodle Pantry...a big thanks to them!
The inspiration for this card came from the little world stamp. Papers by K&Co, Basic Grey, and Colorbok. The Dad (Studio G) is fussy cut after being stamped on cream. Not sure about the world as the set (travel) is not marked. The other sentiment is computer generated. A little twine, three brads and some piercing are the finishing touches. I think this will be my last "Father's Day" card this year as they are due next week and I want to get my package mailed this week.
The circle looks like leather. Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Lori
ReplyDeleteI really like your color combination and all your little finishing touches to the card. Great job!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that Dad card is very manly and cool! I love your use of that border punch! I have that one, but I struggle to find the right times to use it! Yours looks great!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding and very masculine card. Love the blues & browns together, and the deer pattern in the circle. Great way to use that punch too. Thanks for playing!
