A quick simple card . I went to Hobby Lobby last night to check out the new Hero Arts stamps and also spied this stamp from Stampabilities which I just fell in love with. Diane also bought this stamp. Yes, I bought both HA sets...just could not decide which one I liked better. As I look at the photo, I am now wondering if I should have added a mat of white? Paper by Colorbok. Have a great day!
Linda- I love your card--- amazing how different our cards are using the same sentiment! I think your twine separates the papers-you do not need a mat of white! I like your white embossing on the black better than mine! Did you get the other sentiment- Be strong, go with your heart and believe in miracles because anything can happen..... just love the sweetness of the phrases! I got one of the stampabilities tamps in NY when I was away last weekend and then I got one yesterday in a Western Massachusetts store- 2 hours from home! We do not have any HLs close by- so I was really fortunate to be in two cities with HL in such a short time! so- when are you going to use the new HA stamps? LOL it would be so funny if we used the same stamp again!
ReplyDeleteLinda, This is a very nice card. I really like that background paper and your twine. This card could before either gender.
ReplyDeleteLinda, Great use of the 'black board' technique. Sometimes simple cards are the best and I really like this one.
ReplyDeleteThat really is a great stamp, and I like the chalkboard look too! As for you and Diane - GMTA!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful sentiment and it fits so well with the chalkboard look. I think it looks just fine without a white layer.
