My Copics class this last week was on coloring faces and hair. Our wonderful teacher gave us some images to practice on and this was one of them. I colored her ears as hair so I added Liquid Pearls as earrings. The "ribbon" had a sentiment that I felt did not work well for a OWH card so I changed it up a bit.
I almost did not use it for this challenge because she is a little wider than the sketch dimensions. When I realized that she matched the paper that I had started with as my inspiration, I knew it was serendipity (one of my most favorite words...right next to enthralled). Do you have any favorite words?
Hi Linda! I just love your card! Cute image and DP; and your coloring really complements the DP! Your class sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful! Thank you for sharing your class and your talent·
ReplyDeleteLinda, This card came out very nice, great job on your coloring. We all take artistic license with our art work. I don't think you get in trouble LOL. I'll have to think about a favorite word. Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteLinda, this is a great hippy card! You're coloring like a pro; I never would have guessed this is a "practice" copic image. It's funny that you mention cool words - yesterday I thought of "trajectory" when I was watching my BF play catch with his 3yo son. His little one has a great throwing arm but has trouble visually following a ball when it bounces off things, lol. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSo adorable! I love the paper you used!
