What a great sketch...so versatile! It was my inspiration for both cards...although it might be difficult to tell. I took lots of creative license as I was excited to get both these images made into cards. I need to start packing my box to mail to Kris. I swear it takes twice as long to "stamp" & stuff the cards than it does to actually make them.
Great interpretations of this week's sketch. Both your cards are super cute!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute cards! Love the little kiddos-super cute!
ReplyDeletethose cards will bring smiles to many faces - I try to stamp and line my cards as I make them - that seems to help or I take them to work - and make my lunch partners work.

Love your takes on the sketch! These make fabulous kid cards. :)
ReplyDeleteOMG...I love love your cards, especially the second one with the adorable image by Lori Boyd. I'm a huge fan and actually own this same cutie! They make such fun cards and you really hit it on both! :)
ReplyDeleteTwo super sweet cards. I love the greens and your hair coloring is fabulous. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThey're both great cards, and I can see why you were anxious to ink up those cuties!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute, Linda. Is the tag's ribbon attached to the card or is it loose?
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are sweet. I am the opposite of what you do. After I finish each card I stamp it and put it in the envelope. Gives me some satisfaction knowing I am completely done!
ReplyDeleteOh, those are so cute and the coloring is super! They are really going to make some kids' day!!
ReplyDeleteI don't stuff mine until I'm ready to mail because I have a 6' tall revolving card rack in my room, so when they're all in their slots, they make a fun room accessory look at. (The same way I keep my wooden stamps on floating wall shelves.) I do always stamp first thing because there have been times when I've worked for a really long time on a card, only to -- aargh!!!! -- screw up the stamping at the end.
