Welcome to my blog for the OWH President's Day VCMP 2013! Hope you are having a wonderful time. The VCMP is my favorite format...a lot of inspiration and super interative. My DH is a gearhead so one of my suggestions was "Things With Wheels". My card (loosely based upon OWH Sketch 153) is made using an image from Whimsie Doodles. Before I printed it out I added the sentiment to the bumper. It is colored it with Copics Y13, Y15, Y17, C1, C3, C5, T9 & B000. To add a little dimension to the headlights I added clear epoxy circles. The tire tracks are from CTMH Cruisin'.
Blog Candy Alert: I have two stamp sets to give away to two random luckies who leave their email address in their comment (the safe way) by Midnight Central Time Friday, February 22, 2013.
I cannot wait to see your wheels...
Linda, thank you so much for hosting a VCMP challenge! This one will hopefully generate those sometimes hard to make masculine cards. I'm going to go make one right now!

I'm away from my craft area this weekend, but am checking in on the VCMP participants and getting such good ideas. What a perfect card for males of any age, and lots of females, too. I give every newborn girl I know a Tonka truck! Every little girl I know likes trucks as much as little boys and they deserve their very own. I love the sentiment on the bumper ala a license plate. The tire track across the center is cute, too. You have defied "clever."
